As a non-profit consulting firm, we the Black women, democratize autonomy over one’s wellness and education from a human rights perspective. We work as a liaison between elected officials or major corporations and the community to bring about need-based solutions and improve the quality of life and/or customer service within the Black community.

The Grocery Prescription Program
The Grocery Prescription Program’s mission is to fight food inequality by providing access to healthy and nutritional goods to individuals who meet at least one of the following identities: 6 months pregnant or postpartum, have hypertension or diabetes, or live within one of the USDA-designated food desert ZIP codes within Indianapolis. Black Women in Charge, Inc. believes that everyone has a human right to quality and nutritional foods that are easily accessible and affordable.
